Eyebrow Transformation

I get a lot of people sending me questions via Tumblr on what I use to fill in my brows, so I thought I may as well put together a post about them, and what I use to do them.

I naturally have very fair brows that almost look as if they aren't even there from a distance, and occasionally I go through phases of dying them a darker blonde so they don't require as much filling in or won't look as 'non-existent' on no makeup days, but I haven't dyed them in quite a while now.

As everybody who loves makeup knows, your eyebrows are the all-important frame to your face and how you shape and colour your brows can completely alter and make a huge difference to how you look.

I personally prefer my brows to be a fair bit darker than my hair colour, and unlike my natural brows, quite defined. To keep a little bit of natural colour and texture in there, I prefer using clear brow gels or none at all instead of tinted ones.

Black Glitter Liner

Most of the time when I'm doing my makeup, I often feel like the look isn't complete without winged out liner, and since I opt for this style of liner the majority of the time I was wondering what I could do to mix it up a little, so I decided to add a little sparkle.

I wanted this to look clean and simple, with the glitter being the main focal point, so I kept the use of eyeshadows to a minimum to avoid taking any emphasis off the liner.

Awesomely Orange

Knowing what colours are complimentary to your own eye colour can really help in enhancing them - in my case, I have quite blue eyes, so by using contrasting warm tones and orange shades you can really see how this helps my eyes to pop with vibrant colour and stand out that little bit extra.

Using just a subtle hint of a colour that compliments your eyes will work in the same way, but I decided to use these shades quite dramatically to demonstrate the effect to it's full potential.

Neutral Every Day Eye

To kick start my blog, I thought I'd start off with the look that I find myself wearing most often - my basic neutral everyday eye make up. This is my number one 'go to' look when I haven't really planned how I'll be wearing my make-up for the day or if I'm not doing anything particularly special, this is the look I always seem to opt for.

It's easy, doesn't take much time and there's no need to worry about making sure it will look right with your chosen outfit.
