Winged Eyeliner Pictorial

Here is my first pictorial! This was requested by quite a few people on Instagram and I hope some people find this informative and helpful.

Sometimes I'm able to just do my eyeliner without even thinking twice about what technique I'm using as I've been doing winged eyeliner for years now, but here's a simple method that I find quite simple but effective and may be useful to people who struggle with their eyeliner or people who are new to it.

  1. Start by creating a line that extends from your lower waterline, making it as long or short as you'd like
  2. Then, starting at the tip of your line you created, drag your brush back on itself to create a triangular shape
  3. Plot out the shape for the rest of the eye
  4. Begin filling in your guide
  5. Once filled in, use what you've already done as a guide to neaten/thicken things up if you need too
  6. Line your upper waterline to really bring your eyeliner together

Aaaand that's it!

For this pictorial I used Inglot's AMC gel eyeliner in #77 and a Screenface Domed Eyeliner Sable brush.

Gothic Glamour

Ahhh, the smokey eye. An easy way to instantly vamp up your look. It's sexy, elegant and is a great way to show your more daring side. For extra oomph I added a gorgeous, mid toned purple shade to this look, keeping the lid a jet black matte for that extra gothic feel along side thick, sexy lashes.

The great part about this look is the purple can be substituted for any other colour that fits your preferences, or to a shade that is much more suited to your individual skin tone and eye colour.

Give it a go and try incorporating your favourite colours!

Since we're finally seeing signs of summer here in the UK (dare I jinx it) I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to make the most of  a few vibrant, warm colours.

This look was heavily inspired by a fantastic artist that I came across on Instagram - who's username I can not remember off the top of my head for the life of me - who originally drew inspiration from... A king penguin. How cute!

Pretty Daytime Eye

I'm finally the owner of some Inglot cosmetics products - yay! I've been dying to try their products after seeing so many people online express their love for them over time. I'm the kind of person who is always wary of ordering cosmetics online without actually having seen them/swatched them in person and with there only being one Inglot shop in the whole of the UK, I had put off ordering from there for quite some time.

I finally caved a couple of weeks ago and placed an order on just a few products to start with, to see how I like them and I can safely say I will definitely be ordering more from them in the future.

I decided to order a couple light, neutral shadows that I know I will get a lot of use out of during the dayime, and here is an example of how I wear my makeup on a daily basis using the new products that I bought.
